You will:

• Architect and deliver elegant, high-quality features across the stack (Python, Typescript, modern web frameworks).
• Work closely with design and product to shape intuitive, delightful user experiences for both technical and non-technical users.
• Identify, debug, and resolve critical issues in production, ensuring stability, security, and data integrity at scale.
• Automate testing and deployment pipelines to move faster and ship with confidence.
• Contribute to our open-source codebase, reviewing pull requests, writing documentation, and supporting the global developer community.
• Continuously find ways to improve performance, accessibility, and reliability as our user base and feature set expand.

Who you are

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications, end-to-end.
• Strong foundation in Python (FastAPI), TS/JS (Node.js/Svelte), and modern web frameworks (e.g., Svelte, SvelteKit, React).
• Comfortable working across the stack and picking up new tools as needed.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and an understanding of modern DevOps practices.
• A relentless eye for detail, prioritizing quality, performance, and user experience in everything you build.
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and take end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Strong communicator and collaborator, open to feedback and eager to learn.

Bonus

• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
• You’ve scaled products used by large, diverse audiences or shipped user interfaces for mission-driven platforms.
• Interest or background in AI, data privacy, or security.
