Senior Data Center Engineer II

The Senior Data Center Engineer II is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and scaling of the company’s data center infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and availability of physical hardware that supports cloud services. It involves working on large-scale infrastructure projects, expansions, and operational readiness for new data centers. The position contributes by managing the lifecycle of hardware, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers, directly impacting the company’s ability to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

• 6-8+ years of experience with infrastructure deployment or support in large-scale data center or cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including compute, networking, and storage systems
• Proficient understanding of power and cooling architecture in data centers
• Experience with GPU hardware and high-density compute infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting liquid-cooled infrastructure
• Strong Linux skills with command line and bash scripting experience
• Proven troubleshooting abilities across hardware, networking, and operating systems
• Knowledge of data center cabling standards and best practices
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments or data center expansions
• Ability to analyze incidents and drive operational improvements
• Strong problem-solving and technical investigation skills
• Experience maintaining documentation and operational procedures
• Ability to collaborate across engineering teams
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
