You're joining one of the largest accounting, tax and advisory firms in the US at a genuinely pivotal moment. This is a firm that has historically relied on third-party tools, but is now building a bespoke data platform from scratch. You're one of the first engineers through the door. The firm is a Private Equity portfolio company, which is growing rapidly and has developed significantly through mergers and acquisitions. That growth is exactly why this platform needs to exist — and why you'll have real visibility at a senior level from the start. You'll be architecting and building out brand new data pipelines to support AI projects. You'll have exposure to generative AI, RAG architectures, vector databases and frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph. This isn't a maintenance role. You're building something new, and the business knows it. The culture here is well regarded and you'll have high visibility with leadership and real influence over the technical direction of a team that's just getting started.

You'll need strong Python and SQL, solid experience across cloud data platforms, and a background in advanced data engineering spanning at least five or so years. A degree in computer science, data engineering or equivalent experience is preferred. Certifications in Microsoft Fabric or Power BI are a plus.
