We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with deep experience in healthcare analytics, strong SQL skills, and a solid background in AI/ML. This role focuses on leveraging healthcare data to generate actionable insights, improve patient outcomes, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning models for healthcare use cases (e.g., patient risk stratification, readmission prediction, fraud detection). Work with large-scale structured and unstructured healthcare datasets (EHR, claims, clinical, and operational data). Write complex, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering teams. Translate business and clinical requirements into data science solutions. Develop predictive and prescriptive models using techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning. Perform feature engineering and model evaluation to ensure high performance and reliability. Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, including clinicians, executives, and product teams. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA or local equivalents). Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in analytics and model development. Required Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field. 5–8+ years of experience in data science, with significant exposure to healthcare analytics. Strong expertise in SQL (advanced querying, performance tuning, data modeling). Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning. Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Experience working with healthcare datasets (EHR, EMR, claims, payer/Provider data). Solid understanding of statistical modeling and data analysis techniques. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
