My client is building the infrastructure companies need to navigate the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). As regulation reshapes global trade, they provide software that helps importers understand, report, and manage their carbon exposure. They’ve recently raised investment and are onboarding a growing base of paying customers. Now, they’re bringing QA in-house for the first time and looking for someone who wants to play a foundational role in shaping how quality is built into the product.

Experience testing a SaaS product
Strong exploratory testing mindset - comfortable with ambiguity and minimal guidance
Ability to think from a user and business perspective, not just a technical one
Clear and concise communicator - especially when reporting issues
Good judgement: able to distinguish critical issues from minor imperfections
Basic understanding of modern web applications (frontend, backend, APIs, environments)
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating in a small, fast-moving team
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Confluence
Basic SQL or ability to inspect logs/data
Exposure to test automation frameworks (or interest in learning)
