About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our products, driving design excellence, and delivering delightful customer experiences. You will lead design initiatives across vertical and horizontal projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful user experience.

Passion for Design: A deep passion for Product Design and UX Design craft; committed to creating meaningful, impactful user experiences. Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years as a Product Designer in a fast-paced environment, with at least 2 years leading holistic design as a Staff Product Designer (or equivalent title). Multi-Disciplinary Expertise: Strong skills in UI, UX, and visual design, with a proven track record of crafting functional yet delightful customer experiences. AI: Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies; experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product experiences or using AI tools as part of your design workflow. Data-Informed Design: Your design work is deeply rooted in ideation, experimentation and evidence, ensuring that recommendations are always backed by data. Comfortable with Ambiguity: Able to work at speed while maintaining high-quality and thoughtful solutions; driving clarity from complexity and ambiguity. Balances User and Business Needs: Equally focused on user experience and business objectives, ensuring that design solutions meet both criteria effectively. Strong Communicator and Facilitator: An outstanding communicator who can bring people together, build strong relationships, and gain alignment across teams. Inspires through design and narrative. Mentorship Experience: Experienced in mentoring Product Designers, providing guidance that enables them to learn, grow, and progress in their careers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Builds strong relationships with cross-functional partners, developing best practices for engagement and collaboration across the organisation. Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Payroll and Fintech, with the ability to apply this expertise to deliver impactful design solutions. Embedded Team Experience: Experienced in being deeply embedded within a development team, working with a light touch from the Product Manager to deliver high-quality outcomes.
