The Cybersecurity team at Home Depot protects the organization’s systems, data, and technology assets through proactive risk management, strong operational controls, and rapid incident response. This role supports core security functions by ensuring the resilience of critical systems and maintaining accurate oversight of technology assets across the enterprise.

Disaster Recovery: Support planning, execution, and testing of disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. Technology Asset Management: Maintain visibility of hardware and software assets across the enterprise to reduce security risk. Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Solid understanding of modern cybersecurity threats and how disaster recovery acts as an ultimate safety net for cyber incident response. Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead, consult, and influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority. Program Governance: Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide DR policies, tiering frameworks, standards, and compliance reporting. Executive Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical recovery concepts and risk scenarios into clear, business aligned language for senior leadership. BIA and Risk Assessment: Hands on experience leading and executing comprehensive Business Impact Analysis and technology risk assessments, mapping complex application dependencies. DR Testing: Experience planning, facilitating, and managing the lifecycle of DR testing – ranging from tabletop exercises, full scale failover, and restoration tests. Ability to mentor and guide Senior and mid-level analysts in BIA execution, risk assessment, and cross-functional communication. Hold at least one foundational industry certification in disaster recovery, business continuity, or security (CISSP, CISA, CRISC).
