My client is building the infrastructure companies need to navigate the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). As regulation reshapes global trade, they provide software that helps importers understand, report, and manage their carbon exposure. They’ve recently raised investment and are onboarding a growing base of paying customers. Now, they’re bringing on a Product Manager in-house for the first time and looking for someone who wants to play a foundational role in the growth of the product.

Solid understanding of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology and carbon accounting. Up to date with relevant carbon and sustainability regulations. Ability to draft for long term product strategy. Background in sustainability consulting, carbon advisory, or carbon reporting software is a plus. Comfortable owning a roadmap, writing lightweight specs, and working directly with engineering and design. Ability to translate complex regulatory and scientific requirements into clear, buildable product specs. Comfortable running discovery interviews, demos, and feedback sessions with sustainability managers / procurement leads at industrial companies. Data-oriented: understand complex calculation formulas, instinctively spot anomalies and understand how data components flow through a system. Strong written and verbal English communication: able to write precise PRDs, user stories, and stakeholder updates. Experience working with issue-tracking and collaboration tools: Jira, Notion, Loop or similar. Working knowledge of CBAM, beneficial but not essential.
