Technical: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering customer-facing applications; Contribute to architectural discussions and implementation decisions alongside engineering leadership; Review pull requests and help maintain strong engineering standards across the team; Collaborate closely with product teams to shape practical and scalable implementations; Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and drive technical improvements; Promote strong engineering practices across testing, performance, and reliability; Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code. People Leadership: Provide day-to-day technical guidance and support to backend engineers; Line manage backend engineers, including regular 1:1s and performance development conversations; Support career growth through coaching, feedback, and mentoring; Help onboard new engineers and support their integration into the team; Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
