As a Staff+ Software Engineer at Seeq, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our software platform. You will lead the design and development of complex software systems, working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers. You will mentor and coach junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and helping them grow their skills. You will be a technical leader, driving innovation and spearheading the implementation of new technologies and frameworks.

You must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. You need at least 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing, building and evolving complex software systems. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices. You should have expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Rust, C++, etc. You must have expertise in backend development for data-intensive applications. You should have experience working with databases such as Postgres or MySQL. You must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail. You must have proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers. You must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. You must be familiar with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
