The district includes 25 elementary schools, one charter school, seven middle schools, five comprehensive high schools, and three specialty schools. This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Front-End Developer located in Richmond, VA. The Junior Front-End Developer will design, develop, and maintain user-facing features for web applications. This includes creating responsive websites, collaborating with team members to ensure functionality, and ensuring a seamless user experience through efficient coding practices. The role also involves supporting integration with back-end services and maintaining code quality through testing and debugging.

Proficiency in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design
Basic knowledge of Web Development and integrating front-end interfaces with back-end systems
Understanding of Software Development principles and practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with developing for educational or public sector platforms is a plus
Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications or equivalent work experience are also welcomed
