The IT Security Technician position is 100% remote. We want you to be comfortable and happy, please work from wherever you’d like. Currently, the position has fixed working hours, in which the IT Security Technician is expected to be available and responsive. However, working hours are somewhat flexible. Employees must be aware of their environment to prevent data exfiltration (via cameras, bystanders, insecure networks, etc). This position includes opportunities for equity compensation, allowing employees to participate in the company’s long-term growth and success.

Strong English proficiency
4+ years of Linux administration experience
Strong command-line proficiency
Experience with security tools and monitoring systems
Knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication abilities
