We’re supporting an early stage AI driven SaaS company looking for a Product Manager to work directly with the Founder and Engineering team on the build out of a fast scaling product platform. This is not a heavily process driven corporate PM role. They want someone who enjoys ownership, can operate in ambiguity, and is comfortable sitting close to engineering while also understanding customer and commercial priorities. You would own product initiatives end to end, help shape roadmap decisions, and work across engineering, GTM, and customer teams to ensure the right things are being built at the right time. The environment would suit someone coming from: A startup or YC style environment, An early stage B2B SaaS company, Or an APM/Product background looking for a more hands on ownership role. Strong preference for candidates who actively build things outside of work whether that’s prototypes, AI tooling, side projects, or technical product experimentation. What they are looking for 2 to 6 years experience in Product Management within B2B SaaS startups, Product experience in YC backed, venture backed, or well funded startups, Someone who has worked closely with founders, engineering, and GTM teams, Former founders or very early startup employees are highly interesting, Strong technical understanding with the ability to discuss architecture and engineering trade offs, Comfortable creating wireframes, mockups, user flows, and product artefacts using AI native tooling, Able to show something they have built recently whether that’s code, prototypes, side projects, AI workflows, or product experiments, Bonus points for Computer Science or Software Engineering backgrounds, Someone who can manage expectations across founders, engineering, sales, and customer teams without heavy process, Must be US based and open to travel for final interview stages in SF or Santa Cruz. Remote across the USA with occasional travel for collaboration sessions. Salary is between $150,000 and $200,000 base plus equity depending on experience.
