后端工程师（Go/Rust）

Join our backend team, responsible for the core services and infrastructure that power the Xata platform. You will design and build core platform capabilities for our Postgres infrastructure, develop backend services and APIs, work on database branching, storage systems, replication, lifecycle management, and orchestration. You will own projects end-to-end, from identifying opportunities to implementation, deployment, and operation. You will contribute to our growing portfolio of open-source projects, including pgroll, pgstream, and other components of the Xata platform. You will collaborate closely with engineers across backend, frontend, product, and platform teams. You will participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making. You will participate in on-call rotations and help maintain a reliable platform.

You are highly self-directed and thrive in environments with a high degree of ownership. You have significant experience building backend, infrastructure, or distributed systems software. You have strong programming skills in Go, Rust, C/C++, Java, or similar languages. You have a strong understanding of distributed systems concepts. You have experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. You have familiarity with PostgreSQL and database systems. You have strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
