Senior Java Software Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Spring Boot-based microservices in a distributed architecture. Build and operate event-driven data processing pipelines. Work extensively with complex datasets. Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries. Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders. Contribute to data warehousing initiatives. Develop robust APIs. Work with AWS cloud services. 6+ years experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend services. Minimum 2 years AWS experience. Advanced SQL expertise. Experience with data-intensive applications. Strong ownership in Agile environments. Strong microservices and event-driven architecture experience. JPA/Hibernate experience. PostgreSQL/DynamoDB schema design skills. Event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) experience. Test automation with JUnit/Cucumber. GitHub Actions/CI/CD tools. 6 hours overlap with US Central Time on business days.
