Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, DevOps, or SRE roles, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. Strong hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace). Proficiency in Python, Java programming, Shell scripting, or similar languages for automation and data processing. Elastic Logstash programming knowledge is a huge advantage. Experience applying machine learning techniques to operational data (e.g., anomaly detection, clustering, forecasting). Understanding of incident management and change control in financial institutions. Experience with AIOps platforms (e.g., Elastic, Moogsoft, BigPanda etc...). Exposure to MLOps and model lifecycle management. Familiarity with Kafka, Logstash, and Kibana for data ingestion and visualization. Knowledge of banking systems, core banking platforms, or payment gateways. Certifications in Elastic or observability tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure, regulated environment with a focus on reliability and security.
