This role requires combining excellence in both design and technical implementation. Design Engineers at Ashby work on challenging design problems, help others improve their designs, and consult on bespoke design work. The role emphasizes collaboration, minimal process, and ownership. We build tools that empower engineers to ship features quickly and iterate based on user feedback.

2-5 years of experience in design and engineering. Must have strong proficiency in both design and technical implementation. Ability to ship features to hundreds of users. Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and CSS. Experience with backend technologies is a plus.
