Payments Engineer

As a Payments Engineer, you will design and maintain secure, high-performance payment processing infrastructure. You will ensure the seamless execution of financial transactions across various networks while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and security.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement integrations with various payment gateways to support global card processing and ACH transactions.
• Maintain and audit infrastructure to ensure strict adherence to PCI-DSS compliance and security standards.
• Develop and optimize fraud detection mechanisms to protect transaction integrity and minimize risk.
• Architect scalable systems for processing high-volume payments across multiple platforms and currencies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline billing workflows and ensure reliable ledger consistency.

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Payments Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in designing and maintaining secure payment processing systems and gateway integrations.
• Proficiency in handling card networks, ACH processing, and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience implementing fraud detection mechanisms and transaction monitoring.
• Strong understanding of financial data security and encryption best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Payments Infrastructure.
