Must reside in Salt Lake City, Utah; Have a passion for technology; Demonstrate previous IT engineering experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission critical environment which may at times be stressful; Have a solid to excellent understanding of networking principles and concepts and experience working on a variety of firewall appliances and load-balancers; Be highly familiar with Microsoft servers and services (Active Directory, IIS, SQL, and clustering); Be familiar with administering Linux servers (any distro but Ubuntu preferred) as well as common open-source services (Apache, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, etc.); Some experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure); Have a good understanding of storage solutions such as SAN and NAS; Have a good understanding of complex backup and DR solutions and their implementations; Demonstrate an understanding of security and compliance principles (i.e. SOC2, PCI-DSS); A flexible approach to working hours. Working outside of normal business hours may be required at times; Possess excellent documentation, time management and prioritization skills.
