Senior Data Engineer designs, builds, and operates mSupply’s enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric. Working within a medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) using dbt, this role owns pipeline reliability, data quality, and operational health from source system ingestion through delivery into analytics-ready datasets that power BI, data science, and AI capabilities. You will own the end-to-end pipeline lifecycle for a platform that integrates data from multiple ERP systems, operational tools, and third-party sources across three major business verticals. This is not a maintenance role. mSupply is actively acquiring new businesses, and every acquisition means new source systems to onboard. If you want to build pipelines that matter in a fast-moving, high-impact environment, this is the role.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data platform roles with production pipeline ownership. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, pipeline development, and automation. Hands-on experience with modern ELT/ETL frameworks and data transformation tools such as dbt. Experience designing and operating data pipelines in cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, dimensional modeling, and medallion or multi-layer data architectures. Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD practices, and automated testing for data workloads.
