Senior Test Engineer responsible for ensuring software quality, stability, and performance across complex applications and systems. Role focuses on leading testing initiatives, improving quality processes, and driving reliable product releases through structured testing practices and strong collaboration with engineering teams.

Role Focus Areas

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive test strategies across applications and systems
Develop and maintain functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate closely with development and product teams throughout the software lifecycle
Drive automation initiatives and improve test coverage across platforms
Review requirements and provide quality-focused feedback during planning stages
Troubleshoot production issues and validate fixes before deployment
Maintain testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics
Support continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and methodologies
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Core Competencies
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes

Familiarity with APIs, databases, and backend validation
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in agile and fast-paced engineering environments

Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5–8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles

Preferred Background
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
Exposure to performance, security, or load testing practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems
Experience working on large-scale or enterprise-grade applications
