This QA Engineer will sit within our
Roparian
team and is responsible for designing and executing complex test scenarios to ensure software quality and performance while utilizing their technical skills to automate testing processes. They collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in the testing framework. This position is fully remote in Portugal.

Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Computer Science or related computer/engineering field, or equivalent.
3-5 years' of demonstrated experience in software development or software testing and quality assurance (QA) activities
Proficiency in web-based software testing
Well-versed in all testing methodologies (black box, system, functional, exploratory and automated testing)
Proficiency in writing and maintaining test plans and test cases
An ability to work independently, and consider outside of the box and edge test cases
Ability to be highly collaborative in a fast-paced work environment
Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive bug reports
Experience with at least one Test automation framework (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, etc.)
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
Strong analytical skills, strong judgment and ability to understand complex business problems quickly
Experience with SQL. Familiarity with MongoDB is a plus.
Experience using command line tools, chrome developer tools
Experience using JIRA, GITHUB or similar version control & bug tracking tools
Experience in working with build tools such as AWS, Jenkins, etc.
Ability to rapidly learn new technologies based on business needs
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
