Long-term contract opportunity for a Commercial Grade Dedication SME. Opportunity for Senior/Principal Lead Engineer working remote. You will report to the Manager of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the Design Authority SME for CGD across AP1000 projects
• Determine safety function and critical characteristics using design documentation
• Review supplier CGD procedures, plans, and methodologies
• Evaluate technical adequacy of item determinations, critical characteristics, and methods
• Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, and EPRI guidance
• Resolve technical gaps, risks, and nonconformances
• Work with suppliers, EPC partners, and engineering teams
• Integrate CGD requirements into design, procurement, and construction processes
• Develop guidance, training, and best practices

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil, or related)
• 15+ years of nuclear industry experience
• Expertise in CGD and procurement engineering
• Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, nuclear QA, and EPRI CGD guidance
• Experience reviewing or governing supplier CGD programs
• AP1000 or new build / EPC project experience
• Background in Design Authority or engineering oversight roles
• NRC audit/inspection experience
• PE license or advanced degree

B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil, or related)
15+ years of nuclear industry experience
Expertise in CGD and procurement engineering
Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, nuclear QA, and EPRI CGD guidance
Experience reviewing or governing supplier CGD programs
AP1000 or new build / EPC project experience
Background in Design Authority or engineering oversight roles

PE license or advanced degree
