Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (functional, regression, integration, and API). Collaborate with developers during sprint planning to define acceptance criteria and testability requirements. Perform exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing across web and/or mobile platforms. Identify, document, and track defects through their full lifecycle using tools like Jira or Linear. Participate in code reviews with a quality lens — flagging risks and suggesting improvements. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and quality gates. Analyze test results, produce reports, and surface quality metrics to the team. Champion a quality-first mindset across the engineering org — advocating for shift-left practices.

3–5 years of experience in software quality engineering or a related testing role. Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest, or similar). Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices. Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.). Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.). Strong communication skills — you can clearly articulate risk and quality concerns to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
