This is a part-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing various software tests, developing and documenting test cases, and performing both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality. The role involves identifying defects, reporting issues to the development team, and ensuring a seamless product experience for end-users.

Must Have: 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA or test engineering. Strong understanding of code — ability to read and comprehend Python and TypeScript / JavaScript. Proven experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, pytest, requests, or similar). Experience testing modern frontend applications (React preferred). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows. Self-driven and proactive — you identify what needs testing without being told. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for end-to-end testing. Familiarity with Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, DevOps). Experience with AI/ML product testing or chatbot testing. Knowledge of Tailwind CSS and component library testing. Experience in a startup or early-stage environment. Understanding of Australian real estate or education technology domains.
